Checklist For Finding The Right Saxophone Teacher For Your Kid Saxophone Lessons
The best age to start saxophone lessons varies, mostly determined by the size of the child and which type of the saxophone they are interested in. We typically recommend the minimum starting age to be seven or eight for saxophone lessons. Alto saxophones are best suited for younger students due to their size, roughly two feet in length. The alto sax is also the most popular type of saxophone for beginners, due to its compact size and lower weight.
Children in general have shorter attention span and we recommend only starting them on Kid Saxophone Lessons only if they express interest in mastering it. Mastering a new instrument like the saxophone can be tricky and sometimes children lose interest if it is too technical or challenging.
Our Kid Saxophone Lessons focus on simplifying the lesson modules so that it is taught in bite-sized pieces with lots of interaction during lessons. Your child will feel excited and delighted after every class as he or she will master a new technique in playing the saxophone.
